Hit power button again without cluch, will be on for maybe 1 minute, then turns off again displaying same message, start engine, works forever. Then charge the battery using a smart charger (Maypole - Amazon, under £25). Make sure you charge the battery on the car. Connect the positive lead directly to the battery terminal. Connect the negative lead to the chassis earth point - NOT the battery negative.

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion Ecoboost SE. I bought it used. My car is saying turn off engine or start ignition this comes on after my car has shut off within about 1-4 minutes into driving. I've owned a 2011 Edge since 2011 and when the weather is cold (below 20 degrees) I get a message on my in touch screen that the battery saver system has malfunctioned, restart your engine and turn the ignition off. Doing this gets the same result and I get the battery saver system has malfunctioned again.
